House of Life

The House of Life is where each one calms and quiets the soul in a devotion to the Lord while attending worship at the Church of the Wind.

The more still we are before the Lord, the more bountifully celestial life is poured not only on each of us but also synchronously on all creation on the earth and under the earth. The world is faced with chaotic catastrophe now. We shall be still before the Lord all the more because fears and anxieties are covering the earth. For this very purpose, I believe that God has given us the House of Life. This is the house of healing, and indeed the fountainhead where hope and life spring up.

Before Applying

The House of Life is a monastic facility of Kohitsuji no Mure operated by donations.
You are welcome to use the facility only for the purpose of being still before the Lord while attending worship and events at the Church of the Wind.
No alcohol, no smoking, no pets allowed.
An application is accepted from 6 months to 10 days before your arrival.
In case of change or cancellation, please contact us at least three days prior to your reservation date.
Please use one application form per person even if you come with your family or friends. The same application form can be used only for an infant or a person who needs care.
The House of Life is open from Friday to Sunday morning.
On the day of your arrival, please first finish registration at the Church of the Wind right after Three o'clock Prayer.
